The symptom checklist provides an indication of whether there is any purpose in taking the food intolerance test. Obviously not everyone will need it and therefore the symptom checklist is an important tool in determining this need.

Food intolerance is an ever-increasing problem, however the majority of people are not aware that there may be a connection between the problems they suffer and the food they eat. It appears that a great many people have what we call a ”leaky intestine”. In other words, the food we eat poisons us when it directly enters the bloodstream via this leaky intestine. This can cause a broad spectrum of inexplicable symptoms.

The difference between food allergy and food intolerance is the following:

The great majority of people know whether they have an allergy to something. Allergies provoke a more or less acute reaction.

Food intolerance is more difficult to detect because it is the use of a foodstuff over a longer period that leads to irritation/poisoning. If you do not detect which foodstuffs you cannot tolerate, this may over time develop into an allergy to these foods, as well as many types of pains and symptoms. By using the food intolerance test from US BioTek Laboratories, Seattle, you will be tested for potential reactions to 96 different, common food substances. When you receive the analysis from the laboratory, you will see what you must avoid and, via our network of therapists, you will easily be able to take the steps that need to be made to repair the damage. It is very important to do this to stop the cause of the reactions.

Once you have done this for a period of 3 months to 1 year (depending on how consistently you avoid food that causes reactions and by following the treatment plan) the body will ”forget” that you couldn’t tolerate this food in the past. In other words, this will prevent you from developing allergies to individual foods.

Please note! In the USA food intolerances are called allergies on the same line with standard allergies, as they are a reaction that comes from the imune systeme. What we refer to as food intolerance is an IgG reaction against proteins. This is not the same as lactose intolerance, which arises due to a lack or reduced production of the enzyme lactase, but is an active immune response.

Cell metabolism test (Urinary Metabolic Profile - UMP) Urine test

  Download brochure

Organic acids are usually found in the urine. Abnormal values are functional markers for vitamin deficiency, GI dysbiosis, exposure to toxins and neuroendocrine activity. The testing of organic acids is used to determine the basis of diet therapy for many illnesses, for example mood/behaviour problems, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, depression and metabolic poisonings.

When the body begins to show signs of an illness, changes have already occurred within the cell and many reactions that are necessary for healthy metabolism are already compromised. There are many factors that can contribute to this breakdown, including an unbalanced diet, stress and poor lifestyle habits.

Through testing organic acids we can see metabolism at cell level, how well the body functions and how it meets demands.
