Technical Specifications The TOG GaitScan™ System is a revolutionary diagnostic tool for assessing foot function and resultant compensatory lower limb biomechanics. TOG GaitScan™ has an industry high 4096 sensors, scanning at 300Hz (scans per second) and is only 13mm thick making it extremely portable. It runs off the computer's battery (when the computer is not plugged in) allowing scanning even when no power source is available. TOG Gaitscan measures the forces acting through the foot as it hits the ground and highlights how the foot and lower limb compensates for poor foot mechanics. These compensatory changes are responsible for a myriad of medical problems from foot and heel pain to chronic low back pain, and identifying the foot’s role is the first step in treating effectively. With TOG GaitScan™ you can take your practice to new level as it combines clinical skills and experience with advanced technology. In just seconds, the GaitScan™ system generates quantifiable static and dynamic measurements, providing comprehensive data and allows on-site reporting, providing the patient with a tangible explanation of what is happening every time they take a step. |
